What is the Wallingford Marketplace at Words on Wood?
The Wallingford Marketplace at Words on Wood is a curated collection of small businesses working together to form a lively indoor marketplace experience. Our businesses and communities are stronger together and at Wallingford Marketplace, we aim to offer several small businesses a home in our wonderful community in Wallingford, Connecticut. Hosted by Words on Wood, a custom sign and party business that has been a part of the community since 2016,, we plan to give customers a taste of several different small businesses in one convenient location at 144 Center Street.

Will Words on Wood still be offering workshops and parties?
Yes. Words on Wood will still have our studio space for DIY workshops, parties, and events, just as before. With the addition of the Wallingford Marketplace, our customers will have access to shop all of the wonderful cabana shops at the marketplace.

Will Words on Wood still be taking custom orders?
Yes. Words on Wood will be taking custom orders just as we have been for over six years. If you can dream it, chances are we can put it on a sign or wood project.

What will the hours be?
The standard hours for the Wallingford Marketplace will be Tuesday-Friday 12-6, Saturday 10-6, and Sunday 10-4. Wallingford Marketplace will also be open while workshops are taking place.

Will Words on Wood gift certificates still be valid?
Yes. Words on Wood will continue accepting Words on Wood gift certificates and operating just as before. Words on Wood gift certificates will not be valid at other marketplace locations and businesses and are only applicable for purchases from Words on Wood LLC.

Will Santa still be at Words on Wood during the Wallingford Holiday Stroll this year?
Yes. We love having Santa at the studio and he will be here during the Holiday Stroll. The studio layout may be different, but we plan to offer the same joy to our wonderful community that we have been for the past several years.
